About Katie in her own words:
Life can be really challenging at times and lead us to feel in need of some help to work through our thoughts and emotions. Reaching out for this help may feel daunting but I am here to make your journey to better mental wellbeing as supportive and empowering as possible. I offer a friendly, confidential space where you can feel respected and heard without judgment. Together we can explore the issues that have brought you to counselling. We’ll work towards a better understanding of where these issues are rooted in order to help you move forwards and make positive changes. Every person is unique so my goal is to integrate my knowledge and skills in a way that will best help your individual needs.
Qualifications and training:
Katie has a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy. She regularly attends training and clinical supervision as part of her continuing professional development.
Professional Body Membership:
Katie is a qualified member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists.
Areas of focus:
Anxiety, depression, stress, family/relationship issues, improving low self worth, trauma and abuse amongst others.
A little known fact:
My happy place is outdoors, on long woodland or coastal walks with my dog.

Phoenix Health and Wellbeing is a charitable social enterprise in Leeds City Centre, offering massage, counselling, and acupuncture services. Proceeds from these sessions support those with chronic mental, physical, and emotional health issues who can’t afford this care.

Monday to Thursday: 10.00 to 20.00
Friday and Saturday: 10.00 to 14.00
