Acupuncture – pain relief and so much more
About Acupuncture
Originating in Ancient China when sharpened stones and long sharp bones were used for acupuncture treatment we now understand that this treatment works by altering and balancing the energy within the body. We have channels of energy running throughout our bodies. The energy can become stagnant or unbalanced as a result of stress, ill-health, or injury. An acupuncturist can influence the flow and balance of this energy by accessing the channels with small hair like pins.
What can acupuncture help with?
There is a lot of debate about what can and cannot be treated with acupuncture. It has been clinically proven that acupuncture can positively effect :

Additionally, in our clinic we have seen excellent results for clients who have
- IBS,
- infertility,
- Chronic fatigue (ME)
- sleep issues
- stress related ill health.
Acupuncture is also an excellent means of achieving relaxation and can promote detoxification. For more information about what can be treated with acupuncture and to see the latest research visit the Federation of Holistic Therapists

Hear it from a client
“I had been suffering from Trigeminal Neuralgia for over two years. In this time I had tried anything and everything anyone would suggest. From anti-depressants and pain killers to alternative herb diets and ointments, right through to Chiropractic treatments, yoga and steam sessions. Most didn’t have any affect and the few that did, the affects were short lived.
